Ends of the Earth: Missionary Spotlight
Lord’s Prayer Focus: Surrender to the Father’s Kingdom
When we talk to God, we must remember who we’re talking to. We’re talking to the King! God’s kingdom is an awesome kingdom and our desires should be the same as the desires of our King! Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matt. 6:10). As we continue to use the Lord’s Prayer as our guide through these 40 days, let’s focus now on what it means to pray for God’s kingdom and what it means to surrender to His will.
Acts 1:8 (ESV) — 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
As we pray for God’s Kingdom to come on earth, we want to pray specifically for the missionaries and that Crosspoint has partnered with around the world.
Hanna (Goebel) Weinheimer
Hanna serves in Frankfurt, Germany as a GEM missionary to and serves missionary families and their kids throughout Europe, where she helps encourage and counsel kids who may be struggling to live on the mission field. She recently married her husband Paul back in September 2021, and they are actively hosting German neighbors in their new home and are regularly serving Afghan refugee children nearby. Paul and Hanna also attend a sending church in Frankfurt, where Hanna serves as the children’s pastor.

Prayer Points:
- That the small groups they have restarted would be a place of safety, growth, and discipleship for the people in their church.
- For the Holy Spirit to grow Paul and Hanna in their first year of marriage and reveal to them the Father’s plans during this season.
- For courage and reliance on the Holy Spirit as Hanna steps into new opportunities for serving missionary kids and families.
