Collegiate Day of prayer & Monthly Thursday Prayer gatherings

The global Collegiate Day of Prayer is Thursday, February 26th, 2026 and it is being hosted here in Lynchburg at Liberty University. But each month leading up to that day, local churches all across Lynchburg and around the world will be gathering on the last Thursday of every month to pray for God to move.

Our hope is that Crosspoint Church would gather in solidarity with the global church, at as many of the Monthly Thursday Night Prayer gatherings they can leading up to February 26th, 2026.

Here is the schedule of those hosting prayer each last Thursday of the month starting at 7:00pm and leading up to February 26th, 2026:

Next Up: January 29 - Hope Co.

A call to prayer and fasting - Childcare RSVP

Crosspoint Church is hosting a Prayer & Fasting gathering for the entire church on Sunday, February 15th-Tuesday, February 17th. Each evening, we will gather from 6pm-7:30pm.

We desire our community, individuals and families, to be able to listen for, and recognize the direction of the Holy Spirit. We desire to gift people practical tools for spiritual warfare in their lives, homes, marriages and families. The big question we will be focusing on is: What does prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit look like?

The hope is that this is not a time with a big agenda, but rather a gathering of obedience- listening for the Holy Spirit together in community. Issac Wendland will be teaching, and we will discuss ways we can incorporate understanding for elementary aged children, so they can participate in these discussions and prayer with their parents/caregivers.

The final evening will be a time of celebratory worship and a potluck dinner. This is the day we will be breaking our 24 fast together. On this evening, we will have corporate communion and our feast, and then kids 4 and under can be checked in to childcare. We  will conclude our time with worship through song and scripture together.

Childcare is available for Children 0-4 years old. Please register them through the link below by Sunday, February 8th.
